Moving to Quebec

Hi my name is Ashley Boykin. I’m a young single professional, no children, no pets just a big heart for people! My dreams of living abroad has finally come true; however the journey hasn’t been easy. I tried living abroad on my own but it didn’t work out due to complexities of finding a job that would sponsor me. I’m raising funds to help me fully relocate via my current company. They’re sponsoring my work visa, but they are not providing any assistance or support with getting me there. I’m hopeful and positive that this is the first step towards the many amazing encounters I’ll have. I love traveling, exploring other cultures and spreading love. My platform in life is to live, learn and remain humble. I don’t have the funds the moment to support my move as I’ve been supporting my family during the pandemic. It’s taken nearly 4 years to get this international transfer approved with a lot of patience, sweat, tears and heartbreak of approvals and denials. These funds will assist with moving my personal items from the USA across the border to Quebec, transportation and temporary lodging until I can find a permanent apartment rental within my first month of arrival. I do have a full time job with upon arrival as I’m doing an international transfer however the lump cost of everything it takes to complete this move within the time frame allotted is creating a financial burden without support considering I have student loans that I’m tending to.
