Help Cure Selena Styren
Donation protected
As most of you know, Selena is a very outgoing, active and hardworking young woman. She owns her own esthetician business and loves what she does. She started not feeling well the past few months and went in for simple tests to find something seriously wrong. It is with much sadness to share that our beautiful daughter, Selena Styren, has been diagnosed with 2 very rare, potentially life-threatening, blood and bone marrow diseases called PNH and Aplastic Anemia. She is being closely monitored after her emergency stay in the hospital by her oncologist. She will continue receiving blood and platelet transfusions weekly until she goes to Seattle for chemo/radiation followed by a Bone Marrow Transplant. It will take a month or two to find a donor match from the registry list and family will be tested to be a possible match as well. As soon as a match is found she will begin her fight to kick this disease by getting her treatment and long recovery in Seattle for at least 3 months.
How you can help:
First of all, we would like to ask for your prayers. This will be a tough road physically, mentally, and financially for Selena & Gage Burland. They need prayer warriors lifting them up in prayer!
Secondly, we would love for you to come alongside us to help take the financial burden off of Selena & Gage for these next 4-6 months. Please consider giving to this sweet couple. Any amount is helpful, big or small!
Thank you for giving! We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts!
** All funds raised will go towards medical expenses (treatment, deductibles, co-pays, etc.), their household bills in Spokane (house payment, utilities, insurances, etc.), Selena’s business expenses (She is self-employed & won’t be able to work until she is fully recovered, so she needs to pay her salon rent & business taxes), and then finally the cost of housing, travel, & food for the months she will be hospitalized and then staying in a chemo specific apartment for recovery.
