The Crawford Family

On 8/20, Khloee was admitted to East TN Children’s Hospital with a bad strain of E. Coli. Throughout the days to come, this infection caused Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome, ultimately causing her little kidneys to fail her. She was moved from a med-surg floor to the PICU. She has received blood transfusion(s), and will be receiving dialysis to try to rid her little body of the toxins with the goal of her kidneys to work again. They have been advised to plan for a 2-3 week stay. Katelyn is a stay at home mother, while Gunnar works hard to provide for his family. He is missing work to be there for his daughter. They’re running back and forth home because they have a second child at home, Kartar Beau, who is 5 months old. They’re having to rely on childcare so they can be at the hospital with Khloee. We have had so many people reach out and ask how they can help or what they can do.

Our first priority is prayer. We need and want that more than anything. Our God is an awesome God.
