October 5, 2014 was a day that started what has been a long journey for the Fenske family. After experiencing troubling stomach pain, Peter was admitted to the hospital for a case of pancreatitis. After three days, it was determined that Peter had gallbladder disease. On November 10th, Peter had his gallbladder removed. During the operation, the doctors found cysts on Peter's liver and a growth in his gallbladder. After two weeks, his doctor called and said the word no one ever wants to hear: cancer. After some treatments in Virginia, the Fenske's decided the best place to treat Peter would be at the Cancer Treatment Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Their journey has been filled with much joy and much sorrow - many highs and many lows. Communities have rallied around to support the family through many, many prayers, cooking meals, and helping with the Fenske's two sweet, young children Allison and Aiden.

There are so many expenses involved in battling cancer. These expenses come at a time when the family needs to focus on healing and supporting each other, and not worrying about how additional expenses will be met.

Please pray over your giving. Every little penny helps take some of the heavy burden this family is already having to carry.
