Support Cory

This page has been prepared for Cory by his closest loved ones, as he is unable to do so for himself at present. Late on the evening of July 21st, he was involved in a collision with a car while piloting his motorcycle which led to him being taken to the ER. While initial outlooks were grim, he has fought hard and is on his way to a slow but sure recovery. He has been transferred to Shands in Jacksonville to receive the majority of his care going forward. He has already undergone three surgeries since the incident, with multiple others on the horizon as he recovers. During this time, he will be unable to work or take care of his day-to-day finances while he recovers. We are taking action to make this time in his life as comfortable as possible, but we know that as tragic as this incident has been, the world around him marches on. We have made this GoFundMe to help with the upkeep of bills and his animals during this initial phase, but any excess money raised will go to settling up his medical bills or further care he may need after being released from intensive care. While we are still uncertain about many things at this point, it seems that a prosthetic leg and physical therapy in the long run may be necessary for his full recovery.
