Team Piper

After 10 years of fostering and helping over 100 animals, the time has come for us to help one of our own. If you’ve been following my page the past few weeks, you’ve seen that our sweet baby rescue pittie cow, Piper, is VERY sick.

She is currently being hospitalized overnight at Purdue for testing and getting the best possible care we can find for her! Right now we are looking at a handful of different diagnosis but doctor is aiming towards IBD or cancer. With IBD, we will tweak her medication and HOPEFULLY finally start to see some improvement. If its cancer, well we all know what cancer entails..

Over the past 6 weeks between Crossroads Animal Hospital and Lowell Animal Hospital we have already spent $2,000 on a slew of things (6 vet visits including 2 rounds of bloodwork, urinalysis, X-rays, full GI panel, ultrasound, steroid injections, B12 injections, probiotics, very expensive prescription food, and 4 different daily medications). Her stay at Purdue is going to cost us an additional $3,500 and that does not include whatever treatment we will have to provide for her moving forward.

If you guys know us, you know that we have 6 rescue dogs and they are our whole entire lives. We want to continue to give our girl the best care out there and do whatever it takes to get her feeling better. We hate to have to even do this fundraiser but it’s getting expensive and how are you supposed to put a price on your furbabies lives and wellbeing?
