MMA is today’s third most popular sport, second to soccer and basketball. That’s why many athletes get attracted to the MMA stage—centering their dreams, passion, and future around it. One of them is Suad Salimova, Azerbaijan’s first female MMA and K1 professional fighter.

Suad is a kickboxer-turned MMA artist. She has been competing professionally for 6 years and as an amateur for 9 years across the world. For this, she has trained from the best of the best, connected with different cultures, and learned many languages—English, Turkish, Russian, French, and Dutch. As a woman athlete from a Muslim country, Suad always aims high and go beyond what is expected of her. Her goal is to expand her reach, experience, and achievements in the name of passion. She’s currently eyeing to compete in Bellator MMA, an American MMA sports promotion, and she needs all the help she can get.

Suad is raising money to fund her training, promotion, and competitions. She would like to soon join training camps abroad, to hone her skills and compete in more MMA international stages—from Bellator MMA and beyond.

It’s difficult for full-time dedicated athletes to fund their training, especially Suad who trains twice in a day and needs a healthy diet to get through rigorous training—all for the goal.
