This lady needs a helping hand

Hello kind people,

My name is Kent (UK) and I am raising funds for my friend who needs your kindness and help.

My friend Erin, who is from Croatia, needs some financial help to go through these low moments in her life. I have been helping her for almost a year now, but due to the increasing financial requirements, I cannot help her alone anymore. So, I am kindly asking for help in supporting her until things get better for her.

Erin is in her early 20s and recovered from leukaemia just over a year ago. However, the problem mainly stems from the lack of love and support from her parents.

She's currently taking her last exams for college which take place in a few months but is facing a big struggle in both health and family issues. She has type 1 diabetes and is also her grandmother's carer and provider who has dementia. Her parents are very abusive, selfish and care less for them. Even though they live under the same roof, they expect her to pay rent, provide their own food and medicine whilst Erin prepares for her final exams and caring for her grandmother. Her father is even threatening to kick her out if she cannot pay rent.

For this reason, I am making this crowdfunding on her behalf so that she can focus on her exams, able to pay rent, get food and medicines and support her grandmother.

I don’t really like the idea of free money, so I will be doing some streaming content so that I can give back in the form of entertainment and eventually raise a bit of money for her until she's able to finish her exams, find a job and move out with her grandmother at around November.

She’s a very kind but prideful (in a good way) person to even reject my help knowing that she can't sustain everything without financial help and has been feeling guilty about this since I started helping her.

My aim is to raise around £10,000 which is more than enough to cover most of the necessary things until November.

The total is around 1046€ and the food cost may be higher than projected as Croatian food costs are steep and this is for 2 people in a month.

1 GBP = 1.18€ or less during after the bank conversion.
