Help Us Give Margaret Jackson a Beautiful Farewell

I'm Naomi Whichard, and I'm trying to raise money for my grandmother, Margaret Jackson. She passed away Thursday, November 21st, from stage 4 cancer that started out in her lungs and basically spread all over her body. I'm only 18 and I'm in college, so I can't afford to pay for a funeral, and my family was trying to find a way. So, I'm starting this GoFundMe. My grandmother was and is my best friend and has had such an impact on all of my family's lives so much that I not only want but need to give her the best celebration of life, like we like to call it in my family. Because it's truly what she deserves, because if it was one of us, she'd do the same.

I have a difficult time just asking for money, but when it comes to her, I'd do anything. So I know that $30,000 is a lot, but me and my family live in Maryland where it is very expensive, and we have a whole lot of people who want to come and send her their last see you later. And that means we need a certain amount of money. But with that being said, any amount is a huge help in the stepping stones to planning all of this and getting to show the woman who made me who I am today how much I care for her and love her.

I'd really appreciate it if you yourself could donate even five dollars. But also, if you could share this with anyone you know who would care to read and share with me for my grandmother.

I send prayers out to all of those who know the feeling of losing a loved one to this horrible disease. For someone who has lost multiple people to it, I truly wish you the best and pray for a good turnaround and recovery.
