Alice's surgery

Hi my name is Liz, I am mummy to Alice. Alice is 11 nearly 12, she is my WORLD and i call her my "doggy daughter". Mid May, whilst playing catch Alice had a stumble which made her lift her leg and not be able use it. After going to the vets they said it was a sprain and that it should heal along with pain relief. Sadly this did not heal and after a few visits to the vets to trial different things for her, they have now explained what is wrong with Alice.
The orthopaedic vets stated that "unfortunately, due to the injury only surgical management will re-allign the foot and make the leg functional again." The procedure involves fusion of the luxated joint and stabilizing it with a plate.' They gave 2 other options which involve things that are clearly unimaginable for me to even comprehend, such as euthanasia and amputation.
Due to this being a specialist operation they have quoted me between £4000 and £5000.
Regretably Alice was not insured and the veterinary surgery do not accept payment plans. I HATE that I am having to ask and was very reluctant to set this up BUT I am out of all other options. I am completely desperate to raise funds to help my dear girl Alice walk properly again and to be as pain free as possible.
