Alex's fight against cancer fund

Alex Jaramillo, at the age of 22, is fighting a rare disease known as Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm. This disease is a type of leukemia that has a history of affecting the elderly and less than 600 cases nationwide. Currently, we're figuring out how to help Alex get to and stay in Houston while going through treatments. It is because of this we need whatever help you can offer, as we need these funds immediately due to the urgency at which we need to get Alex going through treatment. These funds will go towards Alex's treatments, his stay over there and any support that Alex needs to help him fight off this disease. 12/28/17 Update
We want to take the time to thank everyone for their support up to this point because we have good news! Although Alex wasn't accepted at MD Anderson, we paid for the consultation at the City of Hope in California and they admitted him with a plan to start treatments tomorrow (this update went out later than planned). The City of Hope is absolutely amazing and we're incredibly grateful for their help and how they saw the urgency for Alex to be seen. We ask now more than ever for your prayers and support as Alex's fight starts in earnest.
