Support Nick's Family After Tragic Loss

I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my cousin, who is going through an unimaginable loss. Her partner, Nick, passed away unexpectedly—leaving behind not only heartbreak, but three beautiful children who adored him beyond words:

Brooks Edwards McKnight, 3 years old

BrynLee Jean McKnight, just 4 months old

Nick was more than just a partner and father—he was the heart of his family. A proud dad, a loving son, an amazing friend, a brother and the kind of uncle every child deserves to have. He meant the world to his niece Olivia Jordan, and was a constant source of strength, laughter, and love in her life.

Nick never gave up. He always did right by his family, even through the hardest of times. He had a heart of gold, and anyone who knew him would tell you how deeply he cared for those around him. He was also a proud Boilermaker fan, always repping his team with pride.

This loss is devastating, and while no amount of money can ease the grief, we are hoping to rally around this family and help with the unexpected costs that come with such a tragedy. Donations will go toward funeral and memorial expenses, and supporting this young mother and her children as they try to find their footing in a world without Nick.
