Support The Smith Family

Setting this up to support Tracy & Timm Smith and family. Tracy & Timm are the parents to 4 fantastic kiddos, 3 boys & 1 girl. Their daughter, Tristalyn, has been battling severe stomach pain for over 6 weeks & on November 22 was admitted to Children’s in Minneapolis & is still in the hospital. Tracy is the owner of a small, local business, Daisy A Day, & has had to have her shop closed most days during one of her busiest seasons while she stays with Tristalyn at the hospital. Timm is a teacher in Foley & has been working, caring for the boys & traveling back & forth to the hospital to see his girls.

 

If you know anyone in the Smith family, you know they are some of the most generous people when it comes to supporting others. Daisy A Day is often donating & supporting events in the community. It’s our turn to help them while they care for Tristalyn & bring her back to her charismatic, energetic self.

 

Tristalyn’s stomach pain was due to blockage in her upper intestines that required much effort, discomfort & pain to Tristalyn to resolve. Because of her ongoing pain for so many weeks it is taking additional time for Tristalyn to recover fully as she hadn’t been able to eat or drink.  The Drs. also want to do some additional testing as Tristalyn’s body has shutdown physically & she has emotionally shutdown as well. Tristalyn just went down for another MRI, and a MRA of her brain and an ultrasound of her stomach and ovary area. They’ll also be inserting a feeding tube.   Tristalyn’s discharge date is unknown as of now but when she does come home it will likely be with a feeding tube & physical therapy to regain her strength.
