Tommy's Medical Bills

Hi all!
Tommy Logothetis is a Freshman at Catawba College in Salisbury, NC, and is originally from Charlotte, NC. Tommy is a marvelous musician who plays guitar, ukulele, piano, and sings beautifully. He's an overall fun-loving, goofy, sweet guy who is loved by all of his friends.
Tommy started to come down with something on Tuesday, January 31st. Within the span of a couple days, whatever he had, turned into Pneumonia. It had completely consumed both of his lungs, making it extremely hard for him to breathe. The Pneumonia then led to Sepsis, and he went into Septic Shock.
Tommy is now in the hospital in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on ECMO, a machine that pulls the infected blood (Sepsis is a blood infection) out of his body, oxygenates, filters it, cleans it, and then puts the cleaned blood back in him. He is sedated and medically paralyzed and a ventilator is breathing for him so his lungs have time to rest and heal.
The medical expenses that we know of at the moment total up to be $5,000. If more is needed, I will change the goal amount, but for right now that's all we know of.
Tommy's mother, Malinda, has been sleeping (what little sleep she is getting) in the hospital waiting room. She is very stressed, so Tommy's friends came together to start this GoFundMe. Tommy is a sweet, kind, loving person that would do anything for anyone. He has a huge heart and is loved by everyone he meets. Donating would not only help him and his mother, but it would give peace of mind to his friends.
Please, even if you can only donate $10, please do. Every little bit helps, even if you don't think it will.
