Skydiving for Dementia
Donation protected
*NEW SKYDIVE DATE 15th OCTOBER - LAST ONE WAS CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS* a number of staff will be taking on a skydive on behalf of Ward 7 YCC hospital. Our aim is to raise awareness and support our patients. Dementia is a cruel disease and can often take the person they used to be, away from their families. At present, there is no cure for dementia and people live with this disease. Therefore, the aim of this skydive is to improve the quality of life for these patients in a current underfunded, understaffed and struggling NHS. The least we can do is help provide more resources, more staff and activities that remind them of all the things they used to love and put a smile on their face - because that is priceless.
