Josh Magbuhat's Medical Fund

It was only a few weeks ago that we learned our good friend Josh Magbuhat, at the age of 30 was diagnosed with lung cancer.  After traveling to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, the full extent of his condition was discovered.  Josh's cancer had spread to many of his organs, including his brain and spine.  The cancer is now Stage 4.  He is undergoing spinal radiation and gamma knife radiation on his brain.  Chemotherapy will also be required.  He is also unable to walk due to a blood clot in his leg, and will need injections daily to hopefully dissolve the clot.  A CT Scan also discovered Josh has a fractured vertebrae.  Kate and Josh are waiting to hear from the insurance company if Josh’s chemo will be paid for, as the drug is very new.  Hopefully Josh will be able to continue treatment at home in Rapid City.  However, Josh will need to make several trips back to Mayo for follow up appointments.  We all know how expensive travel, co-pays and uncovered medical expenses can be. We can’t fight the cancer for Josh, but we can help alleviate some of the financial burden.  Please help Josh and Kate in anyway you feel you can.
