Courtney Clarke

Dear Friends, Family and Community,

We are reaching out to let you know that a dear friend of ours, Courtney Clarke, has just been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, Stage II breast cancer. She had a lumpectomy a few weeks ago which has led to the now devastating news that the cancer spread to both breasts and lymph nodes. Courtney is now required to have a double mastectomy and must undergo several rounds of chemotherapy treatments. She will be starting her chemotherapy treatments this Wednesday, August 31st 2022. She is scheduled to have them every 3 weeks for the next four months prior to the surgery itself and unable to work. Courtney only has a small amount of savings which will not last very long and she will need help with her rent, utilities, phone, car loan/insurance, and food for her dog. She will also need help with medical bills since her insurance is not going to cover all of the costs in her fight against breast cancer.

My friend Courtney is very down to earth and has a heart of gold. She has always been so giving and kind to everyone she meets. She is a hard worker and has always been an independent woman. If you know Courtney than you know her unmistakable laugh, which literally lights up a room. When she laughs, you can't help but laugh yourself. She has gone from laughing all the time, enjoying time with her friends, family and fur baby Kiwi, to becoming very scared, stressed and depressed. The news has been completely devastating for her.

So we come to you asking for your help to ease the financial burden and stresses that Courtney has been faced. We also ask to please pray for healing and strength for Courtney, so her spirits stay up while going through this extremely difficult time.
