Jackson's Heart Surgeries

Jackson is a funny, sweet, active boy who has a very rare heart condition, CCTGA (Congenital Corrected Transposition of the Great Arteries). Now at the young age of 3, he is facing his biggest year yet with multiple heart surgeries on the table for him. Please journey with the Elliot family- Chris, Kathryn, Ava (age 6), Jackson, and Hadley (4 months) as they embrace each precious day with their special boy. Jackson's first surgery is scheduled for May 28th at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX.  This open heart surgery is to  place a band on his pulmonary artery to begin to train (condition) his left ventricle in hopes to at one point be able to switch his heart back to the correct position. Along with the band, he will be getting a dual chamber pacemaker that he will have for life. The length of time Jackson will need to be in Houston for hospitalization and recovery is unknown.

This account is to help alievate some of the financial stress of travel, lodging, and unending medical expenses so they can focus on what is most important.

 What a privledge it has been to watch this little miracle use his "special" heart to influence so many hearts around the world. He is our hero!
