3 peaks 24 hour challenge for Thames Hospice
On June 10th Ben, Olly, Jacob, Anna and Harriet are attempting to climb the tallest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales within 24 hours to raise money for Thames Hospice.
In May last year my dad, Martin Coombs was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Thames Hospice has been providing excellent support during his treatment and will provide palliative care in the future for him and many others like him. Thames Hospice is dependent on charitable donations which account for 80% of their income. These donations enable them to provide vital services free of charge, 365 days a year to those in need.
Our plan is as follows:
5pm: Start Ben Nevis
10pm: Finish Ben Nevis
(6 hour drive to Scarfell)
4am: Start Scarfell Pike
8am: Finish Scarfell Pike
(5 hour drive to Snowdon)
1pm: Start Snowdon
5pm: Finish!!
Please help us to raise as much money as we can to support the local hospice so they can continue to provide the excellent care which so many rely on.
