Sable Mabel Needs Help!

Hello, my name is Sable Mabel. Until a little while ago I was feral, and somewhere along the way I was hit by a car. The vet says I am a very young cat. She also says that I need to have my back left leg amputated. You see it is no longer attached to my hip by its socket, and it dangles under my belly all the time. That makes it difficult for me to walk. This is causing my right rear leg to twist outward. I can’t really walk, so I sort of scuttle along the ground. Not a good situation.

It has taken me some time to trust the humans who have been feeding me enough to allow them to touch me. Wouldn’t you know it? As soon as I was comfortable enough with them to do that, they put me in this comfy basket and took me to that vet. She is a very nice vet, and I behaved well for her as she checked me over. I have no vermin or disease, whew, great right? So the humans have me inside while they try to figure out how to afford surgery for me.

My surgery will cost $1500.00. I am asking you, if you have a little to spare, would you please consider helping to fund this surgery? It is my dream to be able to move well and do cat things with more ease. It will improve my general well-being and help me navigate this strange new place called home.
