Sabrina Whisman is Mayo Clinic Bound!

Sabrina, a loving wife, mother, daughter, friend, co-worker and passionate educator needs our help. In September of 2019, after working with the international students she loved, most recently at Linfield Christian School and Cornerstone Christian School, she had to leave the profession that brought her so much joy due to an unexpected medical issue that is still unresolved. In August of last year she had a headache. To date, that headache has turned into a life altering and debilitating constant migraine, for which she has had minimal relief (a couple days of relief here and there since August 2019!!!). She has tried multiple medications and treatments, some of which required her to be hospitalized for days. Sabrina is unable to work, drive and live a normal life until the medical team she is working with can pinpoint what is causing her constant migraine. She was recently approved to be seen at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, where she hopes to get the help she needs to move forward. Sabrina and her loving husband will be driving to Minnesota soon and the length of their stay is to be determined at this point. The costs involved with travel and accommodations can be astronomical and now they depend on one income as Sabrina had to leave her job that she loves in September. Sabrina is an amazing human, serving on mission trips with youth, hosting international students and loving them as her own and often she is the one taking care of others who are in need.
