Help Sabrina Young beat cancer

Hi. I'm Heather Keating. We can all agree cancer sucks. And I know there have been many times where people have said to someone with cancer, "let me know if I can do anything for you". Well there is something we can do for my friend Sabrina Young . She has 1B breast cancer, ductal carcinoma, Her 2+ Estrogen Reactive. She has to have chemo every three weeks and will be having surgery in October. She just finished her third treatment. Her insurance was dissolved and has ended. I'm putting this out there because I know any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. I know times are tough for all of us financially right now. Food is expensive. Gas is expensive. But imagine the medical bills, copays, prescriptions, deductibles, cost of gas to drive to and from doctor appointments and treatments, and also food plus other normal household expenses. Sabrina and I worked at the hospital together. Ironically, she and I used to do mammograms. Her daughter Railey and my son Nathan were in the Rookie class together at Champions for Children in Athens GA. The Youngs reside in Watkinsville GA.

Edited on 8/18/23 to add that Sabrina has now finished her 4th treatment. Two more to go and then surgery in October.

Edited on 9/29/23 to add that Sabrina has finished chemotherapy!! Next step is a MRI of the breast to check the size of the mass status post chemotherapy and then make a plan for surgery. MRIs and surgery are very costly, so any donation would be appreciated.

Sabrina's surgery went well. But she heard some extremely disappointing news this past week. 2-3% of the cancer remains. So, instead of going for immunotherapy, she is heading for MORE chemotherapy and they are adding radiation therapy to the regimen as well. Any donations will help.
