Sabrina's Fearless Fight
Donation protected
Greetings Family and Friends,
My name is Melanie Jones, Sabrina Mack’s cousin. This fundraiser is to assist Sabrina with everyday living expenses, bills and medical needs. Many people have expressed a desire to help monetarily. Well, our cousins, Ann and her girls shared the idea of setting up a GoFundMe. This fundraiser will allow anyone from anywhere to show his or her love for Bri. If you are willing and able, any amount would be greatly appreciated.
Sabrina Mack is a beautiful individual inside and out. She is a God-fearing woman that loves God first and knows that her help and strength ultimately come from HIM. She was blessed with the spirit of giving and doesn’t discriminate to whom she gives. Her smile and laugh are infectious. She tends to brighten any room she enters. Sabrina loves her family and friends and is forever grateful for all the love and support shown thus far.
Sabrina’s Fearless Fight:
Sabrina Mack has been fighting fearlessly for her life! She was previously diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. As time progressed, her health declined as complications from her liver started to interfere with her heart. In November 2021, her son, Trey, found his mother lying lifeless in front of the refrigerator in the kitchen. She woke up that morning as usual to prepare her breakfast before she started work from home. As he picked her up and put her in the bed, she regained consciousness. She called her brother, Doug “Bear”, to take her to the ER. Sabrina was admitted to the hospital and underwent what we thought would be a simple procedure. Due to the complications during the procedure, Sabrina landed in ICU for a few days afterward. Fluid from her liver had traveled to her heart, causing her heart to overwork. The doctors placed a window around her heart to protect it from the fluid. Once one thing was fixed, something else was found. But GOD!
Due to the surgery and other complications with her heart valves not closing properly, Sabrina has not been able to return to work. She lost her job, company benefits and now disability has denied her twice for benefits.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.
Sincerely,
Melanie Jones
