Sachin's African Library Project 2024
Donation protected
Hello!
I'm Sachin Keshaav, a high school junior. Since 2018, I've been collaborating with the African Library Project, a non-profit organization, to establish libraries in Sub-Saharan Africa. Our aim is to enhance educational accessibility and global literacy for underprivileged children.
To establish a library in Africa, we need 1,000 gently-used children’s books and approximately $650 for shipping. I've already set up 8 libraries and have committed to more book drives in 2024. For more information about the organization, visit https://www.africanlibraryproject.org/.
As part of our new book drives for 2024, I'm collecting gently used children’s books (primarily at a primary to 5th-grade reading level) and raising funds to cover shipping costs.
Here's how you can assist:
- Contribute funds to cover shipping costs. You can do so via GoFundMe or by sending a check/cash. If you prefer to donate by check/cash, please leave me a message to inquire about the process.
- Donate gently used or new books, or assist in packaging them.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and encouragement. With your assistance, hundreds of African children will have the opportunity to enjoy books, regardless of their circumstances.
Thank you,
Sachin Keshaav
