Sacramento Community Fridge

Sacramento community fridges are in need! These *free* fridges will be stocked with food waste and surplus from restaurants, grocery stores, and personal donations. Anyone in need will have access! Our mantra is: "Take what you need, leave what you don't, and give what you can".

These fridges have been successful all over the East Coast, Davis, Oakland, Portland, Seattle, and more! Our goal is to foster a sense of trust in our community and show our powerful potential for collective care networks. These fridges will eliminate rampant food waste while combating food insecurity/hunger. Sacramento Community Fridges are for our unhoused neighbors, families, students, or anyone at all struggling under this COVID pandemic + rampant capitalism.

Thank you any contributions possible, all amounts are deeply appreciated! These funds will go directly towards securing fridges, purchasing wood/supplies for fridge protection, electricity/gas costs, and compensating artists and volunteers.
