Sadaqah Jariyah for Sheikh Abdelwahab Kassa

بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah the most gracious the most merciful.

لآ اِلَهَ اِلّا اللّهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُوُل اللّهِ

There is no God but Allah and Muhammed is his messenger.

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the loss of our caring and charismatic father, Shiekh Abdelwahab Kassa. He was a loving father to seven children, a beloved grandfather to two, an uncle, a  friend, and a community leader. 

Shiekh Abdelwahab lost his battle with COVID-19 complications on the morning of April 26th, 2021 in Seattle, WA. 

This GoFundMe was created in hopes of a sadaqah jariyah that will be set up as a reminder of his life and legacy.  InshAllah, we will continue to support the mesjid in Shire, as well as building a well in his honor. 

We thank you for any contribution, and please keep our family in your prayers. We are comforted by his passing in Ramadan. 

Verily we belong to Allah, and verily to Him we shall return. May Allah forgive him and elevate his station among those who are guided. May Allah expand his grave, illuminate it and grant him wonderful and blessed companions in the grave. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah accept him among the righteous, pious, and martyrs.
