Sadaqa Jariya for our Beloved Mother Sofina Islam

In memory of our late Mother Sofina Islam, we are planning to pay for building extension of a house for one family in our village in Bangladesh.

Mum would always take care of them and always remind us of the need to help the poor

The family barely have a a roof and a very tight and congested living space. 4 families with only 2 bedrooms.

As a means of Sadaqa Jariya in mum's name we would like to pay for the construction extension so that they have sufficient space to stay for them and their children for generations to come In’sha’Allah.

Our Target is £5000 with an initial pledge of £2k already made we have a target of £3000 This will pay for the construction of a second story building on top of the existing one. We will create a further 4 bedrooms and a kitchen area.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. (Muslim)
