Sadaqa Jariya for our Mother, Hajjah Halima Begum

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

 

Assalamu Alaikum

 

On the 3rd of December, our beloved Mother, Hajjah Halima Begum returned to Allah swt after a short battle with Gallbladder and Stomach Cancer. Our beautiful Mother was only 61 years old. She passed away on a Friday, with all six children by her side - Subhan'Allah, our Mum would always pray to pass away like this.

 

Everything we learned, we learned from our Mother. She was kind, compassionate, thoughtful and generous. She was described as pious and humble by a lot of people at her Janazah. Everyone that knew her can bear witness to how loving she was.

 

Allah's mercy and compassion enables us to do something for our Mother in return. We dedicate this Sadaqah Jariya on behalf of our Mum, to honour her memory, continue her deeds and elevate her ranks, In Sha Allah. The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him said 'When a person dies, all their good deeds come to an end except three; continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous child who will pray for them' (Muslim). With the funds we aim to raise enough money to sponsor orphans, build wells and with Allah's help, to build a Masjid.

 

May Allah swt accept this from us and from you and may the good news be brought to our Mother in her grave.
