Sadaqah Jariya for our grandmother Ubah Farah

Firstly, we would like to say Ramadan Mubarak to you and your family. We hope that you make the most out of this beautiful month. May Allah accept all of our fasts and forgive us for all of our sins. Ameen. 

 

Earlier this year our beloved grandmother, Ubah Farah returned to her Lord after many health complications over the years.

 

We, her grandchildren, have created this campaign to raise money to help families in need by providing food packages as means of Sadaqah Jaariyah for her in shaa Allah. We intend to distribute these food packages to as many orphans and families in Mogadishu, Somalia this Ramadan. As we enter the blessed month of Ramadan we have an obligation to remember and support our brothers and sisters in Somalia. 

We kindly ask you all to contribute in anyway that you can. Please remember that no amount is ever too small!

 

Based on the Hadith...

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, “When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him”. (Muslim)

Please support us with your donations. If you are unable to donate at this time, remember to please keep our beloved grandmother and all those who have passed away in your duas. Pray that Allah forgives them for their sins, pray that Allah protects them from the punishment of the grave and hell fire, and pray that Allah grants them the highest ranks of Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen. 

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The earth on the Day of Resurrection will be scorching, except for the shadow of a believer, for verily his charity will serve him as shade.”
