Sadaqah Jariyah for Asira Bibi ( Water well )

ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, I pray that this message finds you in good health and strong imaan.
On 03/08/2024, my beloved grandmother, Asira Bibi (Moymona) , passed away. In her memory, my family and I are raising funds to build a water well in Bangladesh as Sadaqah Jariyah. We hope that this act of charity will provide clean water to thousands of people daily, insha’Allah. We believe that this continuous act of kindness will serve as an ongoing reward from Allah (SWT) for her and all who contribute.
Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When a person dies, their deeds end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.” This hadith emphasises the enduring impact of ongoing charity and its potential to benefit the deceased long after their departure. The Prophet (PBUH) also said, “The best form of charity is to give someone water to drink.” (Ibn Majah)
With this in mind, I humbly ask you to keep my grandmother in your duas. May she be granted the highest ranks in Jannah. May Allah (SWT) fill her grave with comfort and light, and may His mercy and blessings be upon her.
We also pray that Allah (SWT) accepts all our efforts and rewards us for this act of charity. Every time someone drinks from this well, may Allah (SWT) shower us with His blessings and mercy.
