Sadaqah Jariyah for Jamal Uddin

It is with the most heavy hearts we are writing this but unfortunately our dearly loved Father, Husband, Friend and Family member Jamal Uddin has passed away. Inna Lillahi wa Inna ilayhi raji’un. 'Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return' 2:156. May Allah give him an easy and pleasant journey and shower blessings on his grave.
He has been nothing but a positive impact on everyone around him and has always put others before himself. Throughout my childhood and young adulthood I have looked up to Jamal (Muna) as a second father as he cared for me as if I was his own. His love language and way of showing care for others was through acts of service. Whether it was the daily rides to highschool or always making sure I was fed, I always felt a sense of comfort and love from him.
I, along with a group of family members and friends have set this page to help be of service and show love to others as Jamal was to us. With some of the funds raised here, we will be purchasing Quran's and prayer mats and donating them in the name of Jamal so that when people read/pray with them, he will be rewarded Insh'Allah. With a portion of funds raised we will also be donating them to help feed those in need.
Sadaqah Jariyah means continuous charity which implies that the reward from certain acts are continuously granted to the person who has performed the act, even long after he has passed.
“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” - (Sahih Muslim)
Please take this opportunity to donate as little or as much as you can to help contribute to his continuous blessings in the Akhira. May allah reward you all for your help.
