Sadaqah Jariyah for my brother Abdirahim

To Allah we belong and to him we shall return.

My beloved 18 year old brother Abdirahim was stabbed in the early hours of Thursday 9th September, in Leicester. Alhamdullilah Before passing, Abdirahim was able to say the shahadah.

 

Death will reach us all sooner or later, it is therefore imperative that we accumulate as many good deeds as possible. As we all know charity is from the greatest of deeds one can do during their lifetime. A deed that continues after we depart from this life “Allah says:

Those who in charity spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

[Qur’an 2:274]”

 

Therefore, my family and I invite you all to take part in the Sadaqah Jaariyah of my younger brother الله يرحمه

 

I’m sure there has been times we have let opportunities like this pass, where the power is in our hands to better someone’s aakhirah as well as ours.

 

May Allah preserve our youth.
