Sadaqah Jariyah for Naima Said
Donation protected
Surely we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
Salaam brothers and sisters,
It is with great sadness and shock that we share this news. Our beloved sister has passed away suddenly on 10/23/2021 at 18 years old. Naima grew up in Central Seattle, showing love to the those in her community and beyond. Her presence brought so much joy and love, while always keeping a smile on her face. She had just started college at the University of Washington with the hopes of making a difference in the world. I would like to use these funds to help my family cover the costs of the funeral, and use the remainder to buy a water well, so she is continuously receiving good deeds in this dunya.
We understand the world is going through difficult times and we appreciate anyone who shares, donates or keeps my sister in your duas (prayers).
Sadaqah Jariyah is one of the most beautiful forms of charity since it provides benefit – for both the giver and receiver – for years to come.
“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” (Sahih Muslim)
