إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon
Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return.
It is with a broken heart that I inform you that our beloved Mother has passed away
Our mother Sufiya Khatun had recently been diagnosed with cancer. She shortly passed away and returned to our creator on the 26th November 2022. Our mother was an exceptional woman who overcame many obstacles in this world.

I cannot put into words just how amazing our mother was. Those of you that had the privilege to have met and spent time with her will forever cherish her loving memories. She has left a big hole in so many hearts. May Allah grant her the highest ranks in Jannah and widen her grave Ameen.

Throughout these past months, her health had significantly deteriorated But, by the will of Allah, she remained strong throughout this adversity - and never gave up, until her last breath. Despite all the hardships she faced throughout her life, she led by example and showed us the definition of strength. One of the many things she taught us, was how important it is to help fellow human beings.

We will be raising money on the behalf of our mother as Sadaqah Jariyah.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah.), beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them,” (Hadith, Muslim).

We will be raising money on behalf of our mother, Sufiya Khatun as Sadaqah Jariyah. The funds will be going towards building well’s for a community that needs clean water and planting olive trees in Palestine, giving a regular crop and a reliable income, as well as planting the seeds of hope for years to come.

There are no guidelines or limitations on how much we should give as Sadaqah Jariyah. As with any good deeds, our intentions are also very important, and the value of our giving is increased when we take our own situations and hardships into account. You can give as little or as much as you are able to do so. Giving Sadaqah does not decrease wealth. In fact, it can bring Barakah into our lives, protecting our wealth and protecting us against calamity.
Our mother was the nur of our eyes and the queen of our hearts. She was a pillar of strength. Our mother has left us with a lot of love and a lot of memories, but we can continually benefit her with Sadaqah.
Please kindly note that all donations will be treated as Sadaqah; not only will it reward our mother, but also be a reward for you (as donors). InshAllah. Please kindly join and support us in this InshaAllah.
