Sadaqah Jariyah in Loving Memory of Yusuf Abukar

Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajoon, our beloved brother Yusuf passed away on December 15th, 2022 by the will of Allah(SWT) to Allah we belong and to him we shall return.

Yusuf was a loving son, brother & uncle. He had goals and ambitions for his future and would always put his priorities first. He lit up the room with his contagious & efficacious smile. He was a joy to be around always telling jokes and enjoyed banter with friends. He was an amazing uncle to his nieces and nephews. Those who know

Yusuf know that he had a heart of gold. We will miss him & In sha Allah will reunite in Jannah.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “When a person dies, all their deeds come to an end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them,” (Hadith, Muslim).

We are trying to repair & remodel a mosque in Mogadishu, Somalia for charity in Yusuf's name. May Allah (SWT) forgive him and grant him Jannat Al Firdaws. We have made the goal to raise the money to repair a mosque for the people in need of one, Help us raise the money to be able to repair and remodel it and gift this house of Allah (SWT) to those who do not have the option to pray in one which can be used for generations to come. Every verse that will be recited in the Masjid and every worship that takes place you will get a share of the reward in sha Allah. This will be a Sadaqah Jariyah for you and it will be built by and arranged by our family in Somalia may Allah (SWT) forgive him and grant him Jannat Al Firdaws.

“من بنی مسجدا للہ تعالی بنی اللہ لہ بیتا فی الجنة"

”The one who builds a Masjid for the pleasure of Allah Almighty; Allah Almighty will build a house for him in paradise."

Brothers and Sisters, a simple act of Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing reward) could help a community immensely. The rewards are immeasurable. Please share and contribute with what you can and don't forget the hadith from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:

مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ وَمَا زَادَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا بِعَفْوٍ إِلاَّ عِزًّا وَمَا تَوَاضَعَ أَحَدٌ لِلَّهِ إِلاَّ رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ

“Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another but that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah but that Allah raises his status" {Muslim}
