Sadaqah Jariyah to build Masjid for Said Ali

إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Asalamu aleykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu. My dear brothers and sisters, this GoFundMe page is in honour and memory of our dearly departed brother Said Ali. May Allah SWT grant him Jannatul Firdous and widen his grave. Ameen.
Said Ali has passed away 4 years ago and it still feels like just yesterday that we have lost this beautiful soul. Said was wrongfully killed one night on his way to the store with some friends. Said was a son of 9, brother, beloved neighbor, family, and friend to so many. Everyone who knew Said Ali knew how warm hearted, loving, charismatic he was with an energy like no other. Said could light up any room he entered and put a smile on every face that he crossed paths with. In Said’s memory, our family has gotten together to set up this fund in order for him to benefit from a continuous, and ongoing charity.
Since Said’s passing we have collected donations to re-carpet local mosques in the community, organized annual food and clothing drives and have also built a water-well in Tanzania. With the money collected through GoFundMe, we plan on building a masjid in Africa and donating any remaining funds to an orphanage of his mother’s choice. Our goal is to maximize charitable benefits in Said Ali’s name by supplying those in need with a place of worship, food amenities and basic supplies.
Overall, we hope to gather some funds towards his Sadaqah Jariyah, any and all contributions would be greatly appreciated. Please keep Said and his family in your prayers. May Allah SWT raise his rank in Jannah and grant his family sabr. We pray that Allah SWT accepts all of our du'aa for Said and may we be reunited in Jannah. Ameen.
