SadChihuahua’s Veterinary Bills

On Jan 27th Bug (better known as @sadChihuahua) went in to the vet for symptoms due to a mild pancreatitis flare. After X-ray and ultrasound diagnostics along with blood work we were sent home with meds and a recommendation for rest, meds, and a bland diet.
He showed all of the signs of improvement until 3 days later when he couldn’t stop vomiting. A second trip to the emergency vet made it clear something else was now happening and he was declining quickly.
Today we know that his body is shutting down and there is only one course of action to save him: CTScan and then surgery. The internal medicine doctor found that in those three days an absess has grown on his liver and is causing his digestion to slow and gas to build up in his stomach.
We never thought we would need to fundraise for our dog’s medical bills yet here we are, asking for help from Bug’s loyal fans. We have already covered his first set of bills for this problem and CTScan and surgery was estimated at $11,000.
This is literally his only chance for survival and I can’t not offer this option to him and I am so thankful for any person who helps to make this possible!
