Sadie Battling Ewing Sarcoma Terminally ill at 16

Hi Everyone,

My name is Caitlin, and I am the older sister of Sadie. My 16 year old baby sister has been battling a rare form of bone cancer (Ewing Sarcoma) Since she was 12, originally diagnosed in 2018. Sadie turns 17 next week, and while we are ecstatic to celebrate another birthday with her we are hit with the harsh reality that due to cancer, we don't know how many birthdays we will get to be a part of. Since we recently received the devastating news that Sadie had, in fact, relapsed again for the 3rd time, with 2 tumors in her right lung. This is a devastating blow because her options are few at this point. Because the chemo was so hard on her body and she came close to losing her life due to complications from chemo on several occasions. Sadie broke down crying and telling my mom she can't do chemo again, and doctors informed us that Chemo more than likely wouldn't be successful anyway. She may be eligible for a trial, but if it involves chemo, I am sure she will decline. She would prefer to take the daily pill that slows the growth of the tumors and prolongs her life.

In addition to all Sadie has gone through, our family also took another huge hit in October of 2021. Steve (Sadie's Dad) had a rare stroke occurrence. He had two different types of strokes in different portions of his brain at the same exact time. He had a right midbrain hemmhoragic stroke and a major ischemic stroke at the back of the brain. We are incredibly lucky he is still with us! He is, however, now disabled due to severe left neglect. He is not able to work now and we don't know if he will ever be able to again. He is unable to drive. We are so very blessed he is still with us, but the disability has put a severe strain on my Mother's finances as she is the only one now working on a Teachers salary.
To say my family is suffering is a complete understatement. Myself and my Sister Victoria have been doing all we can to help contribute in anyway we can. My sister Tori, more than I due to the fact that I live in Florida; however, times are tough. To say it feels like a black cloud is over my family is an understatement.
Sadie wants to have a White Christmas in the North Carolina mountains. We want nothing more than to give this to her, and to build a lasting Christmas memory with our girl. However, due to severe financial strain, we need help. None of us are accustomed to ever asking for anything but when you see cancer rip your family apart, you realize you can't do it all on your own.

The Purpose of this GoFund me is to allow us to take Sadie to the mountains and create a white Christmas memory. We want to laugh, have fun and enjoy her without worrying about how to afford it. We want to build memories with Sadie while we are able to. This GoFund me is also to help offset some income for my Mom, who's currently carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. If you feel moved to donate just know it will be forever appreciated and never taken for granted. More than anything though we ask for prayers, as we are praying for total healing. We know God is in control, and can provide a miraculous healing for Sadie.
