Hi, I’m Sadie’s mom, Madi!

When Sadie was almost 3 months old, we found a heart murmur that prompted a visit with a cardiologist. Her doctors first approach was very cautious and projected surgery could wait or be avoided all together if she saw improvement in 3 months. Upon our return in October, we learned there was no improvement and waiting for surgery would do nothing but cause permanent damage to the structure of her heart. 6 months ago, we never anticipated that we would be going through heart surgery with our little girl before the end of the year. Needless to say, this was a shock to us and Sadie’s big family.

Sadie Mae is the happiest little girl despite all that she’s been through in these last 6 months, being constantly hooked up to different machines, ultrasounds, blood draws and hospital visits. This is our last big step towards our funny girl being healthy and ready to tackle next year.

We have had so many people ask how they could support us and we were stumped, so this is to help with Sadie’s medical costs and travel costs to her hospital in Salt Lake City. Thank you all so much for caring for our sweet Sadie ❤️
