Lisa Graves Medical Emergency

Due to a very serious emergency medical situation this morning, these children's mother, Lisa, required a 6-hour surgery to attempt to save her life.  An artery on the front of her heart had torn and had to be replaced with one from her leg.  This was an extremely risky procedure, which she survived thanks to a very skilled surgeon and all the prayers going up across the country!

Dad Matthew will need all the  support he can get to help her through the long recovery process.  Besides the loss of income (Lisa's job was their main source) and high medical bills that may not be completely covered, their everyday expenses will increase as they travel to and from the hospital half an hour away.  With four children and others they are helping, including through their work as foster parents, as well as everything they do to help their church and community, their lives affect so many people around them who love and know them. Lisa is one of the sweetest people you could know, and an important and needed person!  This family is very loved!!!  Give if you can to help them get through this stressful situation, but whether or not you can give monetarily, please PRAY for this family, and especially for Lisa and her health!!  They have always been willing to do anything for anybody, and they need us now.
