Saeed Deihimi funeral and medical expenses
Donation protected
Dear friends and supporters,
I am writing with a heavy heart to ask for your help in supporting the family of a dear and beloved member of our community, Saeed Deihimi. As many of you may know, Saeed was a beloved blind pianist who had dedicated his life to helping others learn and enjoy the beauty of music. Despite his own challenges, Saeed had always put others first, and had even created a charity to help blind individuals learn piano and pursue it as a career. From the start of his life, Saeed had overcome obstacles to make the world a better place for everyone around him – especially the individuals who had called him their teacher in the past. His caring soul has reached many.
Unfortunately, Saeed was diagnosed with advanced stage 4 liver cancer four years ago and had been unable to work for the past two years as he was fighting this devastating and advancing disease. Saeed had spent the last few months in and out of the hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his illness on Tuesday January 17th. The medical expenses and the expenses of his family have been overwhelming, and they could really use some support at this difficult time. Saeed is a hero for many, but no one more than his wife, daughter, and son – Gilda, Sheima and Sasha. The process has been devastating for his family as they have spent the past few years making sure Saeed is comfortable through this impossible process. Gilda had made sure he makes it to every appointment, scan, blood test and treatment.
That is why we are reaching out to you today. We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help Saeeds family with the financial burden they are facing. Every dollar you contribute will go directly towards covering Saeed's medical expenses and helping his family through this difficult time.
We know that these are tough times for everyone, and we truly appreciate any support you can offer. If you are unable to contribute financially, we would be grateful for your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes for Saeeds family. Saeed had always been an important and kind part of our community – his love for life was infectious. He would always end a conversation with “have a musical day.”
Thank you for your support.
Sincerely, Shala and Gilda
