Buy a ride, Help a Rider

Dapper Tours is an off the beaten path motorcycle tour company that specializes in making you feel like a local.
During the current pandemic, we have repurposed our bikes to give free rides to healthcare workers on the front lines in New York City.
Six weeks ago, Dapper Tours put out a post introducing our plan to respond to this urgent need. We developed our "Safe and Sanitary Protocol" using our sidecar motorcycles to provide a safe alternative to and from hospitals to mitigate the chance of contracting the virus.
We want to continue to offer rides to those at risk and in need of “Safe and Sanitary” transportation. We are fully aware that this need will continue for some time.
As we continue to fight this COVID enemy in the weeks and months ahead, we are looking to our community to help keep Dapper Tours on the front lines to continue with the fight.
We have developed a “Buy a ride, Help a Rider” GoFundme campaign to care for the needed expenses to expand our operation for additional riders to provide "Safe and Sanitary" transportation to those in New York City who need it.
The concept is simple: make a donation of whatever amount you’re able-small or large towards the ride (avg ride is $35) of a healthcare worker or New Yorker who needs it. We'll use those donations to “Help a Rider” by continuing to offer "Safe and Sanitary" rides to those on the frontlines who need it.
We are honored and humbled by all of the people who we have touched along this journey and all of the memorable moments that have been created.
We’re also grateful that this story has become bigger than us, as Dapper Tours has been highlighted in the New York Times for our plan to help healthcare workers save lives. Thank you to all who helped spread our story.
We appreciate all of your support and we wish you and your families all good health during these times.
Together we will overcome.
