I purchased a compact, high-efficiency PG96MSA condensing gas furnace (about $600, roughly the size of a dishwasher). It's multipoise and flexible for different installation orientations, which should help—but I’ve learned it still needs a full professional setup: removal of the old unit, new venting, gas and electrical hookups, condensate line, permits, and safety testing.
The cost to do this safely and compliantly is estimated between $1,500–$3,500, which is still more than I can manage alone right now. Although I’ve already taken care of the furnace itself, I’m asking for help to pay an HVAC pro to install it correctly and make my home safe and comfortable year‑round.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
