Safe, but Devastated by fire at Christmas. PLEASE HELP

Hi, my name is Karen & I'm fund-raising for my daughter, daughter-in-law & their 2 beautiful babies, Makenna 21mths & Zander 7 wks.

Kirby & Jess, being a same sex couple, have spent a fortune on IVF, making their dream of a young family come true. But it has left them cash strapped & with debts.

As we all know, Christmas can be an extremely stressful time of year.

Unfortunately things sometimes happen to make it more stressful & unbearable.

Early Thursday evening while putting the babies to bed, Kirby realised a fire had started & taken hold in the garage, moving into the roof. Quickly grabbing both babies (Jess was not home) & her phone she evacuated the house & called 000. The fire brigade found a lawn mower battery had exploded & started the fire.

Unfortunately while the entire house hasn't burnt down, it is now uninhabitable & the majority of their possessions have been destroyed. They didn't have contents insurance.

At this time of year I know everyone is financially strained, but we'd all be extremely grateful if you could spare a few dollars to help this young family.

They need assistance with somewhere to live, household goods, clothing, personal items, etc. Anything you can spare will be much appreciated.
