A Safe Haven for Ukrainian Refugees

Hello Friends, Family, and Neighbors from across the globe. We are helping Ukrainian refugees running from the attack on their country. We have prepared a place to stay and rest in southern Poland, across the border from Ukraine. The "safe house" is ready for those in need as they figure out next steps. To provide ongoing shelter to the women, children and elderly, we ask for donations to keep the safe house open and ask for your help to purchase essential supplies such as toiletries, diapers, food, medication, and clothing. The basics of a night's sleep in a clean bed, taking a hot shower and having a warm meal are things that many have not had in days. We have already been able to assist a number of families but to continue this for many others, we are asking for your help. Whatever you can spare, every dollar counts.

 

As you know, thousands of Ukrainian refugees are traveling miles and miles to escape this war in frigid temperatures. This GoFundMe was created when 200,000 refugees had already crossed into Poland and over 500,000 in total have already fled their homeland. The number of refugees in total that will cross is estimated to be 5,000,000.
