Safe Passage for Nadine: Fundraising for Nadine's Family Escape Gaza's Warzone
Help for Gaza: Nadine's Family Needs You.
Situation in Gaza
Gaza has been facing brutal and bloody circumstances since October 7th, and families like Nadine's are having a really tough time. Dreams are being broken, and people are being really strong. The situation in Gaza is not just numbers; it's about real people going through hard times.

Families had to leave their homes in different parts of Gaza to go to the south, but even there, it was scary because of the bombings. Getting basic things like water is hard and risky. The struggle is real, and they need your help more than ever.
Meet Nadine
A smart and kind girl from the north of Gaza with big dreams. Even though she's young, she loves school and helping her community. When she was 10, she got a special title for supporting Palestinian rights from the International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (ICSPR). Now, we're here to support Nadine and her dreams for a better future in Gaza.
Nadine Family
Nadine has a big family of eight, and she likes making funny videos with her younger brother, Jud. After their neighbour's house got bombed in 2021, she was on TV, sharing her dream of becoming a doctor. Sadly, her brother Ahmed was martyred in one of the strikes, and they still don't know where his body is.
The current situation
Nadine's family is going through a lot. Her father was treated badly by the occupying forces, and when he was released, he had no money. Now, they live in a tent in Rafah, dealing with cold nights, rain leaks, and not having enough supplies. Nadine, her family, and her sister's family have been struggling for 120 days now.
Organizer Note
Hello, I'm Mohammed, Nadin is my youngest sister, and I'm organizing this campaign to help Nadin and our family.
Ahmed Khanji, whom you can see his name as a beneficiary, is a close and trusted friend of the family. Ahmed was added to the campaign so our campaign is compliant with the transfer funds policy on GoFundMe. Ahmed's involvement is essential for ensuring the secure transfer of your generous donations to Nadin's Family.
Call for action
They need your help to evacuate to a safer place. Your support, sharing the word and prayers can make a big difference in giving them a chance for a better life. Your donations will be used to help Nadine's family travel safely through Egypt. The money will also help them start a new life, away from bombings and the tough situations they've been facing. Your help is important in giving them hope for a more stable and secure future.
How the funds will be used
- Have Nadin and her family names added to allowed-to-exist lists. (Estimated 38K to 56K USD)
Exiting from Gaza is unlike other parts of the world. In most places, you just pack your bags, head to the airport or border, and you're good to go. But in Gaza, it's different. The only way to flee out of Gaza is through the Rafah crossing point with Egypt.
However, it's not as simple as it sounds. To make it happen, we have to pay what's called "coordination fees" to get the names on the allowed-to-exit lists. As of February, these fees can be as high as 7000 USD per person. The money will be paid to a travel agency in Egypt called Hala, and it's the only way to get Nadin and her family's names on the list so they can be allowed to travel.
Read this article on how much Gazan's have to pay to flee the war.
- Travel expenses through Egypt.( Estimated 800-1000 USD).
Once the names are added to the allowed-to-exit lists, the family will need around 100 USD per person to reach out safely to Cairo.
- Covering new life expenses with basic necessities after evacuation for 6-12 months. (Estimated 20K USD)
The reset amount of collected funds will be used to help the family cover life expenses for the next 6 to 12 months till they settle down. The funds will be transferred to the Nadin Family directly through available money transfer services in Egypt . (Moneygram, Western Union..etc).
