Safe Passages COVID-19 Family Relief Drive
Donation protected
Safe Passages is fundraising to maintain and expand our efforts in distributing bagged groceries, diapers, masks, and gloves to undocumented immigrant families and individuals in our community. During these uncertain times, we are asking you, our friends and colleagues, to lend a hand in this effort and to assure that no family goes without food, essential childcare products, and personal protective gear.
Thousands of undocumented Alameda County residents are excluded from the COVID-19 federal relief package, including not receiving recovery rebates that can help pay for groceries and rent as people are losing jobs and income due to their workplaces closing down. The graph below shows a more detailed breakdown of this federal rebate and tax credit exclusion. The field on the left represents a parent with a Social Security Number, and the field on the right represents a parent without one.
Please help us support our undocumented families through food, diaper, and essential equipment distributions! Every donation, small or large, makes a huge impact in the work that we do, and goes directly to our communities in Alameda County.
All donations are tax-deductible.
