SafeSail - Be Part of the Solution

After a recent article was published "Dear Men of the Sailing World," many conversations were started about equality, harassment, and accountability. We recognized that one event or one person is not going fix a societal problem, but we need to start somewhere so we have established SafeSail as a space to try and move the sport forward.

Our Mission Statement:

Everyone who participates in sailing has the right to a positive and enjoyable experience of sport in a safe environment. Our goal is to help sailors and sailing organizations develop processes and procedures by becoming a platform for resources and reporting.

Donations would go to establishing a 501(c)(3) organization so we can have liability protection and tax exception status to carry out developing and maintaining our new website SafeSail.org - which will be the mechanism for reporting and offering free resources for regattas and classes to utilize.
