Smith Legal Fund

Scott and Jess Smith’s 15 year-old daughter was sexually assaulted in a girl’s bathroom by a biological boy wearing a dress at her school.

This assault occurred in an environment where violent assaults don’t have to be reported and while boys are allowed unfettered access to girls bathrooms and locker rooms.

While waiting to share his concerns at a June 22 school board meeting, Scott was heckled and badgered by a known agitator stating that his story wasn’t true. A sheriff deputy grabbed Scott by the shoulder from behind and the two ended up on the floor. Scott was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest which he appealed.

After more than two years, Governor Youngkin finally reached out and gave Scott a full pardon on 9/8/23.  Scott reluctantly accepted the pardon realizing that he would likely not get a fair trial in corrupt Loudoun County.

The Smith’s legal costs have added up and will likely total more than $100,000 before they’re done.

Please stand with the Smith’s and help defray theses costs for Scott, Jess and their daughter.
