CLOSED SAFE through the Arts® T.V. Pilot

The SAFE through the arts® television pilot and the episodes to follow is Azalea Blossom’s response to the current social-emotional crisis in our nation. Based upon the same principles as the award winning SAFE through the arts® school program, the television pilot and projected series engages the performing and creative arts in order to teach children to build their self-confidence, express their feelings in appropriate ways, and communicate compassionately with others. A diversified cast including our sixteen puppet characters help convey the tools and positive messages that is so urgently needed right now.

As the focus of reopening schools has now shifted to academic survival, millions of children throughout the nation continue to be deprived of the positive reinforcement and skills that they need in order to grow into emotionally balanced adults. If we want the children of our communities to break the cycle of violence and abuse, we need to give them effective tools now. There is no better vehicle for conveying effective change than the arts.
